Science and data-led communications
Over the course of more than a year our scientific team collaborated with the client to understand their vision, the nature of the trial, and their patients.
This saw them develop eight documents, which were translated into 46 languages, and two videos, where content was translated into 23 languages. We recommended the latter from a sustainability perspective, and it also meant patients received the information they needed in an engaging manner.
The scientific team also ensured information was communicated in a way that patients and their families could understand with ease, and formatted all materials.
Documents include a trial journey flyer, an Informed Consent Form (ICF) guide that delves into the study, a patient support services resource detailing how they can access further support, and a study partner booklet for families and partners of patients, ensuring that they too have an in-depth understanding of their loved one’s trial journey.
The documents are available in digital formats, however in many instances printed materials are also required in order for healthcare professionals to provide the most adequate care to trial participants.
Both of the videos were animated to aid with education and engagement. Here the team worked with their film production colleagues to create customised narratives and scripts, produce technical diagrams and illustrations, and curate appropriate music and voiceover artists.
One video contains information about clinical trials generally, while the other covers the clinical trial in focus. This content is being hosted on a webpage, and some of the physical materials feature a QR code that allows patients to access the videos in all 23 languages.
