A new, dedicated team: meet our digital experts

Technology is essential to event success today, which is why we’ve launched a dedicated digital division.


Why the focus on digital?

Our event professionals planned and managed virtual and hybrid events for the healthcare sector even before the onset of COVID-19, across a range of platforms. 

This was only heightened amid the pandemic, where we supported our clients on their in-person to virtual transitions with care, and at speed. 

While in-person events have now returned, we recognise that audience expectations are higher than ever before, hybrid meetings are commonplace, and some organisations are opting for a combination of virtual and face-to-face experiences.

Across all of these, engaging and educating audience members is key.

Our team is led by two existing employees. Alistair Barton has taken on the role of Digital Programme Director, and began his career as a Venue Search Assistant, however has always had a passion for all things event technology. He is an excellent communicator, and even has his own podcast.

Bridie Hook has been appointed as Digital Programme Manager, and first entered the world of events at university, which is ultimately what inspired her career journey. She has the unique ability to identify and recommend a complementary combination of event technologies, and integrating them into these experiences for maximum audience engagement.

Alistair and Bridie have a wealth of experience planning and managing events for virtual, hybrid and in-person audiences, and are particularly passionate about leveraging the latest technologies to ensure our healthcare clients achieve their event goals.

How we can help

Our digital team works closely with the agency’s event management and scientific departments to provide everything from platform recommendations, and design and management of these platforms, through to event app development and engagement solutions such as live polling, Q&A functionalities and virtual reality.
